We enjoyed the casual bar atmosphere with the upscale restaurant ant attached. Definitely has an authentic big easy feel. Great crawfish on Sundays in the bar if you like them spicy!

If you are in the mood for Creole, you have to try The Marigny. The food is absolutely delicious! For an appetizer you must try the Boudin, Poutine, Natchitoches Meat Pies, & Shrimp Remoulade. For the main course, a house favorite is the Roast Beef Poor Boys. We ordered the Grillades & Grits and the BBQ Shrimp Pasta. Everything was delicious! The great thing is that there are so many more items we want to try. Definitely a spot to come back too.

Made from Scratch Creole food. I have had many of the items on the menu and all have been great. My faves have been the Crab Stuffed Catfish, Crawfish Etouffee, Jambalaya, BBQ Shrimp Pasta and the Muffuletta - Traditional, Central Grocery Style, Gambino's Bread. Great dessert in the White Chocolate Bread Pudding w/ Southern Comfort Caramel Sauce. Just off Highway 98 in Santa Rosa Beach and close to 30A. It is not well known to tourist but the locals love it. A truly "Hidden Gem"

We went to The Marigny recently and had one of our best meals ever. We started off with raw oysters on the 1/2 shell and they large and fresh served over a bed of ice to keep them cold. They were very good. My wife had the crab meat catfish. It was a generous portion of fish stuffed with blue crab meat and it was served with home style fries. Both the catfish and the stuffing were cooked perfectly as where the home style fries. The dinner also came with a wedge salad with a butter milk ranch dressing which was very good. I had the whole muffuletta sandwich which is a monster of a sandwich made with fresh sliced mortadella, salami, mozzarella, ham , and provolone on a sesame seeded bun , with a marinated olive salad. If you ever have been to New Orleans and had Central Grocery's muffuletta then if you close your eyes you will believe you are back in NOLA eating this same sandwich , which imo is one of the best ever. For a great meal with a Cajun flair you cannot do better than The Marigny

Love it. Always good. Great staff. Shrimp and crawfish bread is excellent. Best oyster po-boys in the area.

We tried the marigny because of reviews and because my wife and I like creole food . It was not busy at all Friday at noon . I had shrimp creole and my wife had shrimp remeloude . Both were good. Mine was a little spicy . Service was excellent . The place is off the beaten path . Has a nice outside bar , patio and pool . I would try it again .

Save your money. The brunch was garbage and overpriced. When we went home and checked our bank statements they ended up charging us for our bill plus another $100 charge. When we called the owner to ask about it he was smug, rude and acted like it was our problem, definitely not customer friendly...

A welcome addition to the area. Food and service are both excellent. Go for brunch, and DO make a reservation. A great lively place where you will be greeted with a smile and served really good New Orleans style food. Lots of locals having a wonderful time. We have already been 3 times!

I really was looking forward to this place. The idea of cajun food in Santa Rosa Beach and a menu with all the basics that you love. However, this was by far the worst experience I have had and, I have to say ruined the evening for my family and friends. Let me tell you that this is NOT Louisiana food AT ALL. AT ALL!!! Let me repeat NO NO NO NO!!! My family was so excited to come here and have some some good ole fashion cajun goodies... but we came and experienced a nightmare. We got a little of everything that was on that menu. We even went crazy on the appetizers thinking WOW all my flava favs were there. So lets start there.... I got the seafood gumbo. It looked good, but was bland. So bland that I had to add a lot of salt. It needed so much seasoning. If they would just have added the salt, it may have brought out some flavoring. The Wedge with blue cheese was watered down. We questioned whether it was really blue cheese or not. I won't mention any of the other appetizers because we got them all practically to taste... and all were BLAND. Absolutely no flavor. My main course, grillades and grits was something I was told that they were supposed to be famous for... DONT GET IT. It is not traditional grillades and grits.. It look like ALPO dog food that came out of a can and put on top of the grits. Those who know what it is supposed to look like will know what I mean when you see it. What I really think they were trying to accomplish and save money on was taking the meat they would use to make the po boys and chopped it up and called it grillades and grits. It was a complete disaster. My friend had manchac catfish. They did try to make it paper thin but again the batter they used has absolutely NO FLAVOR. The only course that was decent amongst the group was the crawfish risotto. To top this all off, the price on every one of those appetizers and main course was priced high. about 9 dollars for the appetizers and almost 20 for the dishes. With that much you expect quality with all the competition in the area. Louis Louis is at least on 98 and they have not only excellent food, but generous portions. This place is a complete disaster. I just feel sorry for the owner because I doubt they realize what is going on in the kitchen. The only thing that was nice was the restaurant dining room itself... but if you drive to it, tell me what you think about how way off the beaten path its located. And after you experience it, please tell me if it was worth the price. It may be a good thing that its hard to locate and go to because it will make you think twice before you make the hike out there to get some God awful food. It is so rare for me to ever give a restaurant just one star, but my overall experience with the restaurant was just a complete disaster.

Great Creole food, reasonable prices. Poutin was great as were the other two appetizers we ordered, wedge salad and entrees were all great. They've got good options (po boys, fried chicken) for kids. Location is kind of out of the way but worth the drive.
